This platform teaches Islam in the easiest, clearest, and most heartfelt way. It is a beautiful path to learning Salah, Wudu, manners, and knowing Allah.

I'm sorry, but I can't help with that.

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.

We have a habit among us that we often talk about all the time.

See if you can recognize it!

When we come home tired from outside, or when guests are sitting at home, or our loved ones are waiting with food… we often say, “Wait a little, I will quickly go and pray Salah and come back.”

Or, “Mom, heat up the food, I’m coming—let me quickly pray Salah first…”

What connection do you see between these words?

No, without even realizing it, we are falling into the deception of Shaytan. We think we have prayed Salah properly, but in this way Shaytan is ruining our Salah. There is no concept of haste when it comes to our connection with our beloved Lord.

It is mentioned in authentic hadith that if food is served and one is hungry, then one should eat first before praying.

Multiple authentic hadiths provide guidance on this matter—

Narrated by Anas ibn Malik (ra), the Prophet ﷺ said:
“When dinner is served and the adhan is called, begin eating first.”
— Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith: 671 and 672

Narrated by Aisha (RA), the Prophet ﷺ said:
“There's no salad when the food is served, and none either when someone has to pee or poop.”
— Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 560

Narrated by Anas ibn Malik (RA), the Prophet (PBUH) advised:
“If food is served and the call to prayer for Salat is made, start eating the food first.”
— Sunan Ibn Majah, Hadith: 933

In addition, performing Salah with calmness and tranquility (without rushing) is a pillar of Salah. If this is violated or not observed, the Salah becomes invalid.

So we should not perform Salah in a rushed way… InshaAllah, we will not fall into Shaytan’s deception anymore. We will not deceive ourselves either.

We will not let our hard-earned good deeds be ruined by the deception of Shaytan anymore. We will do our deeds hoping for reward.

Not just for the sake of effort alone.

Any thoughts are appreciated❤️
