The correct steps of Salah are beautifully arranged below. Learning this will help you easily understand how to perform Salah and correct any mistakes if you have them.

Intention (Niyyah)—

Intention means "to intend" or "to fix the purpose of an action in the mind."

It is not mandatory to utter the intention verbally; it is an action of the heart. That means before starting Salah, you will firmly resolve in your mind that you are performing this Salah solely for Allah.
