Now you have understood a little about Allah. You now know that Allah is One, Ever-Living, All-Powerful, and above everything. He sees and hears everything and has control over all things. You also understand that Allah is very close to us. When we pray to Him, He responds to our supplications. Allah knows every good and bad deed we do, and He tests us to see who does the best deeds in His way.
How do you feel now? Your heart is surely filled with joy, because you now know that Allah is the Creator of everything, the Protector, and our Lord. We worship none but Him alone.
Now that you know who Allah is, let’s start talking about worship. Worship (Ibadah) is everything we do only for the pleasure of Allah. We do it not to gain praise from people.
Worship can be of many kinds—such as performing Salah (prayer), fasting, giving charity, or Sadaqah. The main purpose of all of them is to gain the pleasure of Allah. When you worship, you do it only for Allah. These acts make our lives better, bring peace to our hearts, and bring us closer to Allah.
Are you ready? Now we will start learning about different types of worship and how to perform them. This will help you understand why we do these acts for Allah and how they bring success in both this world and the Hereafter. It also shows how they open the path to success.
