{"id":999,"date":"2026-01-04T11:27:12","date_gmt":"2026-01-04T11:27:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/afraishmum.com\/?post_type=topics&#038;p=999"},"modified":"2026-05-27T03:51:47","modified_gmt":"2026-05-27T03:51:47","slug":"just-a-reminder-5","status":"publish","type":"topics","link":"https:\/\/afraishmum.com\/en_us\/topics\/just-a-reminder-5\/","title":{"rendered":"Just a reminder"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83c\udf3a I will share an important point regarding Wudu. Many of you may already know it, but still, this is a reminder for both those who know and those who do not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2705 That is: washing each part of the body once during Wudu (according to its rules) is Fard (obligatory). Washing it twice or three times is Sunnah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2705 That means the parts of the body we wash must be fully covered with water the first time itself\u2014no area should be left dry. The required parts should be washed properly so that water reaches all of them. Then, for following the Sunnah, you may wash them 2 or 3 times.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\uded1 What many people do: they wash the face once, but some areas of the face remain dry. Then they think, \u201cI still have two more chances!\u201d So in the third wash they try to make sure water reaches everywhere. This is a big mistake!&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83c\udf3a Many acts of reward are connected with performing wudu properly. In many hadiths you will see it mentioned as \u201cperforming wudu in an excellent manner,\u201d followed by descriptions of its virtues. Therefore, if wudu is not done correctly, none of those rewards will be attained.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Narrated by Ibn Abbas (RA),<br>\u201cThe Prophet \ufdfa would complete his ablution by washing each part once.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2014 Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith: 157<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Islamic scholars agree that in ablution (wudu) it is obligatory to wash each limb once.
