But is it really only that?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Let\u2019s learn some more hidden wisdoms of wudu\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2705 Wudu is a command from Allah, given in Surah Al-Ma\u2019idah.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2705Wudu will be one of the reasons for receiving intercession in the Field of Gathering\u2026 Those whose parts of the body washed with wudu are glowing, our Prophet will recognize them as his ummah, insha'Allah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2705 Through wudu, sins are washed away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Do these thoughts ever come to mind even once while rushing through wudu like the speed of a horse?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SubhanAllah! When there is so much blessing and mercy in this act of worship, how negligent we are toward it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Many of us say that we stay in a state of wudu for 24 hours\u2026 SubhanAllah, how good a deed we think we are doing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But when we are making wudu, we leave the tap running and comfortably waste water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Shaytan will never easily allow us to come closer to Allah\u2026 that is why he mixes some form of wrongdoing, sin, or error into every act of worship. Things that we may not notice at first glance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Prophet \ufdfa taught a prescribed amount of water for ablution, which is called \u201cmud.\u201d<br>A mud is the amount of water you can hold with both hands together, roughly equivalent to about 750 milliliters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Narrated by Anas ibn Malik (RA):<br>\u201cThe Prophet \ufdfa performed ablution with one mudd of water and performed ghusl with between one sa\u2019 and five mudd of water.\u201d<br>Sahih al-Bukhari 198, Sahih Muslim 325<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Narrated by Aisha (RA):<br>\u201cThe Messenger of Allah \ufdfa performed ablution with one mudd of water and would bathe with about one sa\u2019 of water.\u201d<br>Sunan an-Nasa'i 346<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Strict prohibition on water wastage<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Islam places great emphasis on conserving water. Therefore, wasting water unnecessarily during ablution is undesirable and can even be a sin, no matter how readily available it is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Narrated by Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As (RA):<br>\u201cThe Messenger of Allah \ufdfa was passing by Sa'd (ra.) while he was performing ablution. The Prophet \ufdfa said, \u2018What kind of waste is this?\u2018<br>Sa'd (RA) asked, \u2018Is there waste even in ablution?\u2018<br>The Prophet \ufdfa said, \u2018Yes, even if you live on the banks of a flowing river.\u2019<br>Sunan Ibn Majah 425<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2705 Therefore, for wudu you should definitely use a container\u2014this could be a bottle, a jug (badna), or a mug.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Use that to make wudu with a moderate and controlled amount of water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\uded1 And yes, sometimes you may feel like \u201cWho is watching me in the bathroom?
