The same rules apply to all neighbors, whether Muslim or non-Muslim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:<br><strong>\u201c<\/strong>Jibril (peace be upon him) advised me so much about the rights of a neighbor that I thought the neighbor would soon be granted the right to inherit from the property as well.\u201d <em>(Bukhari and Muslim)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This proves how high a neighbor's status is in Islam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Allah, Glorified and Exalted, says in the Holy Qur'an:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWhoever believes in Allah and in the Last Day should be kind to their neighbor.\u201d<br>(Surah An-Nahl, 16:90)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><br><\/strong> The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWhoever keeps his neighbor safe has perfected his faith.\u201d (Bukhari and Muslim)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0May you always treat your neighbors kindly, politely, and with compassion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Remember<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>1. Be kind and humble to your neighbor.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speak with a smile. A smiling face and polite behavior win people's hearts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2. Stand by them in their suffering<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If a neighbor is sick, in trouble, or needs help, one should help as much as possible.<br>This is a major Sunnah of Islam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3. Never cause them pain.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Making loud noise at home, parking one's car in someone else's space, quarreling or disturbing their peace, and causing trouble for any reason are strictly forbidden in Islam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4. Will share a portion of the food.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:  <strong>\u201c<\/strong>When you cook, make extra gravy and give it to your neighbor.\u201d <em>(Muslim)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>If you cook something good at home, you'll send it to your neighbor's house.&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>5. Respect their rights<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 Protect their privacy<br>Do not enter anyone's home without permission.<br>\u2013 You will not reveal any of their secrets, meaning you will not tell anyone else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>6. Welcome new neighbors when they arrive.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If they are Muslim, they should greet with a smile and introduce themselves. They should be the first to speak. Even if they are non-Muslim, they should welcome them with a smile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>7. If someone seems to be in trouble, check on them.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAuntie, are you okay?\u201d<br>\u201cDo you need any help?\u201d<br>These small things have a big impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>8.
