But to teach us how to put the Qur'an into practice, what Allah wants, and how to worship, Allah sent the Prophet Muhammad \ufdfa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That is to say, the Qur'an is the word of Allah, and the Prophet \ufdfa has given us its practical teachings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As the Qur'an commands the performance of prayer, we learn from the Sunnah of the Prophet \ufdfa how to pray, how many rak'ahs, and what to recite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Qur'an mentions zakat, fasting, and Hajj, but the Prophet \ufdfa taught us how to perform them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the Holy Qur'an, Allah says<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIndeed, the Messenger of Allah is an excellent example for you.\u201d<br>Surah Al-Ahzab 33:21<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the Holy Qur'an, Allah further says<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAccept what the Messenger gives you, and refrain from what he forbids.\u201d<br>Surah Al-Hashr 59:7<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He also said<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIf you love Allah, then follow me, and Allah will love you.\u201d<br>Say, \"O people of the Scripture, do not go beyond the limits in your religion, and do not follow the desires of a people who have gone astray before.\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is the benefit of following the Sunnah?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>God's love can be found.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The deeds are beautiful and complete.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Blessings come in life.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can earn rewards even for small deeds.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the Day of Judgment, one can draw close to the Prophet \ufdfa.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Remember<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Qur'an and Sunnah together show the complete path of Islam. It's not enough to read the Qur'an alone; you must also learn how the Prophet \ufdfa lived according to it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The more we follow the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad \ufdfa, the more we will be able to walk on the right path of Islam, insha'Allah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">May Allah grant us all the ability to live according to the Qur'an and Sunnah. Amen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>1. <\/strong><strong>Saying \u201cBismillah\u201d before starting work.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-vertical is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-4fc3f8e1 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">It is Sunnah to say \u201cBismillah\u201d before every good deed\u2014eating, writing, reading, and leaving the house.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Merits:<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong> If you begin in the name of Allah, your work is blessed and Satan stays away.<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udcd6 <strong>Hadith:<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong> The Messenger of Allah \ufdfa said:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u201cAny work that is started without \u2018Bismillah\u2019 is deprived of blessing.\u201d<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong> <em>(The meaning of the Sahih Hadith, al-Hakim; al-Albani said it is Sahih)<\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2. Getting off to a good start on the right track<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Begin every good deed\u2014putting on clothes, putting on shoes, and starting ablution\u2014on the right side.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udcd6 <strong>Hadith:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u201cThe Prophet \ufdfa preferred to begin with the right side for purification and honorable deeds.\u201d<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong> <em>(Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim)<\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3. Wash your hands before and after eating.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Health and Sunnah are important from both perspectives.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udcd6 <strong>Hadith:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u201cThere is a blessing in washing your hands before and after eating.\u201d<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong> <em>(Tirmidhi; Hasan Hadith)<\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4. Eating and drinking with the right hand<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> <strong>Hadith:<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong> The Messenger of Allah \ufdfa said:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u201cEat with your right hand and drink with your right hand, for Satan eats and drinks with his left hand.\u201d<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong><em>(Sahih Muslim)<\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>5. Don't blame the food<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">If you don't like the food, it is sunnah to remain silent.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udcd6 <strong>Hadith:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u201cThe Prophet \ufdfa never complained about food; if he liked it, he ate it, and if he didn't, he left it.\u201d<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong> <em>(Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim)<\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>6. Greeting upon meeting<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Greeting everyone, whether familiar or unfamiliar, is a Sunnah.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udcd6 <strong>Hadith:<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong> The Messenger of Allah \ufdfa said:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u201cGreet one another with peace.\u201d<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong>  <em>(Sahih Muslim)<\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>7. Speak with a smile<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Not scorn or harshness, but gentle treatment is the Sunnah.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udcd6 <strong>Hadith:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u201cSmiling at your brother is also charity.\u201d<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong>  <em>(Tirmidhi; Sahih)<\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>8. Saying \u201cAlhamdulillah\u201d when sneezing<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">And when someone says \u201cYarhamukallah,\u201d you say it back.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udcd6 <strong>Hadith:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u201cAllah loves sneezing\u2026 when someone sneezes and says \u2018Alhamdulillah,\u2019 it is the right of that Muslim that other Muslims pray for them.\u201d<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong> <em>\u2014 Sahih al-Bukhari<\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>9. Performing ablution before sleeping<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">It is also considered a good intention for the night prayer.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udcd6 <strong>Hadith:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u201cWhen you go to bed, perform ablution as you would for prayer.\u201d<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong>  <em>(Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim)<\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>10. Make plenty of Istighfar<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">It is Sunnah to seek forgiveness at least 100 times a day.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udcd6 <strong>Hadith:<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong> The Messenger of Allah \ufdfa said:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u201cI ask Allah for forgiveness more than a hundred times every day.\u201d<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong> <em>(Sahih Muslim)<\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">These sunnahs are very easy, but their reward is very great. If practiced regularly\u2014<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Faith is strengthened.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Character is beautiful.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Daily life becomes worship.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Love the Prophet.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Do not neglect the minor Sunnah, for it is these that open the door to great rewards.
