The Holy Quran is the most important and valuable book in our lives. It is not written by any human; it is the speech of Allah the Almighty, which He revealed for all of mankind. The Quran is not only for Muslims, but rather a guidance and direction for all human beings. It is the final heavenly book (Asmani Kitab). It is applicable for all eras until the Day of Judgment (Qiyamah). It has been revealed for the entirety of mankind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udcd6 In the Holy Quran, Allah the Almighty says\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">\u201cThis is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah (Muttaqin).\u201d \u2014 Surah Al-Baqarah: 2<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In another verse, Allah says\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">\u201cThis [Quran] is enlightenment for mankind and guidance and mercy.\u201d \u2014 Surah Al-Jathiyah: 20<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Where Was the Quran Before Being Revealed to Earth?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before being revealed, the Quran was preserved with Allah the Almighty in the Preserved Tablet (Lauh al-Mahfuz).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udcd6 In the Holy Quran, Allah says\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">\u201cBut this is an honored Quran, [Inscribed] in a Preserved Slate (Lauh al-Mahfuz).\u201d \u2014 Surah Al-Buruj: 21\u201322<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You might be wondering, what is the \"Lauh al-Mahfuz\", right? Let\u2019s find out \u2013&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What is Lauh al-Mahfuz?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\"Lauh al-Mahfuz\" (Arabic: \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0648\u062d \u0627\u0644\u0645\u062d\u0641\u0648\u0638) literally means \"Protected\/Preserved Tablet\". In Islam, it refers to a tablet where Allah the Almighty\u2019s plans, blessings, and all events of creation are written, which are unalterable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\" translation-block\">Lauh\"<\/b> means a tablet\/writing surface.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" translation-block\"><li><b>\"Mahfuz\"<\/b> means guarded\/protected. Therefore, \"Lauh al-Mahfuz\" is a protected, unalterable tablet.<\/li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>According to commentators, Lauh al-Mahfuz is the tablet or place where all of Allah's decreed laws, creation, and plans are recorded.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It is entirely secure and safe, where nothing can be altered or subtracted.<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Through Whom Was the Quran Revealed?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Angel Jibril (a.s.) would bring the Quran from Allah the Almighty and deliver it to Prophet Muhammad \ufdfa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the Holy Quran, Allah says\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">\u201cThe Trustworthy Spirit (Jibril) has brought it down, upon your heart.\u201d \u2014 Surah Ash-Shu'ara: 193\u2013194<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How the Quran First Came to Earth \/ The First Revelation (Wahi)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Due to the idol worship, injustice, and moral decline in society, the Prophet (\ufdfa) decided to stay alone in seclusion away from all of this. In search of truth, he used to stay alone in this cave. Night after night, he would reflect on the greatness of Allah\u2019s creation.<br>This seclusion was a preparation for the revelation (Wahi).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the month of Ramadan, on the night of Laylat al-Qadr at the age of 40, the first revelation (Wahi) came in the Cave of Hira\u2014Angel Jibril (a.s.) arrived with this revelation by Allah's command.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The very first verses of the Quran to be revealed were\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">\u201cRecite in the name of your Lord who created\u2026\u201d \u2014 Surah Al-Alaq: 1\u20135<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After this event, the Prophet \ufdfa became frightened and went to Khadijah (r.a.), and Khadijah (radiAllahu anha) comforted him.
